How You Can Help

There are several ways in which you can support FOKL and Kennington Library:

Information about volunteering in Community Libraries can be found on the library pages of Oxfordshire County Council’s website.  If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please also speak to the library manager.

Join the Friends of Kennington Library (FOKL) or Make a Donation

By becoming a Friend of the library, you contribute essential funds to keep our local library open; and help us to fund events such as the Wednesday coffee mornings with guest speakers, the monthly children’s rhymetimes and storytimes, and the Summer Read Award Party and other children’s events. The more Friends we have, the more secure the library in Kennington’s future is. Please also consider making a donation; it’s easy to do so by PayPal by clicking on the Donate button, and we can collect Gift Aid on most donations.

Attend our Events

We hold events for adults and children throughout the year.  Many of these are free, but we welcome donations to keep the library open.
