For our March Coffee Talk we welcome back Michael Smith, who is a former intelligence officer and defence correspondent of the Sunday Times. Michael will talk to us about his latest book The Real Special Relationship, in which he discusses the relationship between the US and UK intelligence services. This book has received rave reviews, from both journalists and those in the intelligence community. You can find out more about Michael on his website: https://www.michaelsmithauthor.com/.
As always the event is open to all with no need to book and no charge, though donations to cover our costs are always welcome. We start with refreshments at 11am with the talk commencing at 11.30am.
We expect that Michael will bring books to sell so suggest that you arrive with some cash if you intend to purchase as not all authors are able to take card payments.
